With over 25 years of senior-level executive experience in a diverse set of industries, Tom Ferrara has earned outstanding cross-functional expertise leading turnarounds, start-ups and high-growth organizations. With an extensive background in operations, finance and systems integration, and a hands-on approach, he has served as President and CEO of a number of companies, including Shenandoah Foods, a national food manufacturer, ICC Corp., a national database and market research company, Mortgage Finance, a regional mortgage banking operation, Vantage Direct Marketing, a national direct marketing and fund-raising organization, and President and COO of WizeUp.com, providing electronic digital college textbooks via the Internet. He also served as Corporate Vice President to Snyder Communications (NYSE: SNC), a $1B multi-national marketing firm, where he built the nation’s largest direct field sales outsource program for AT&T and MCI.
Tom Ferrara earned both his BS degree in Accounting and MBA in Business Leadership from St. John’s University in New York. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Enterprise Six Sigma Certified, ITIL v3 Certified, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
